About Joseph Greco
Serial Entrepreneur, Investor and Sports Owner
Joseph Greco is an American entrepreneur, private investor, and sports executive whose career spans financial technology, healthcare communications, and professional sports ownership. Over several decades, he has built companies and investment platforms focused on technology-driven services and strategic capital deployment. He founded PSC Info Group and guided its transformation into RevSpring, a global revenue cycle and payment technology company whose platforms facilitate over 1 billion consumer interactions each year in the healthcare and financial services sectors. His work later expanded into venture investment through the creation of Ascend Ventures and Experity Ventures. He also participates in professional sports ownership as a Co-Owner of the Philadelphia Union in Major League Soccer and as a founding partner of Tropion Sports Partners.
Early Life and First Business
Joe Greco grew up in Norristown, Pennsylvania. His entrepreneurial path began during tenth grade when he started a small company that sold printing and business forms to physicians in his hometown. The business responded to the need for customized forms and printed materials used for patient intake, billing, and medical documentation. He approached local physicians directly, built relationships with them, and delivered tailored products that addressed their operational needs.
Joseph has shared that he felt intimidated during the early stages of this effort. He had no formal business education and limited professional experience at that time. However, he believed that responsibility and persistence were essential for progress. The company began to generate steady demand, which allowed it to reinvest profits into equipment, production capacity, and expanded services.
Greco continued building the business after high school. Instead of enrolling in college, he decided to devote his full-time effort to growing the company. This decision shaped the direction of his professional career and set the foundation for future business development.
Evolution into PSC Info Group
The early printing company gradually expanded into a broader information and technology services organization. In 2000, Joseph formalized this transition by establishing PSC Info Group and serving as its Founder and Chief Executive Officer.
He developed the company without relying on institutional capital during its early growth. Expansion followed two key strategies. First, the organization invested in proprietary technology that combined data analytics with automated messaging and billing workflows. Second, it pursued targeted acquisitions that added new services and expanded geographic reach.
These strategies contributed to measurable industry recognition. PSC Info Group appeared twice on The Inc. 500 list by Inc. Magazine as one of America’s 500 fastest-growing private companies. By the early 2010s, the organization had become a global provider of information management, data services, and document technology solutions.
Rebranding and Expansion as RevSpring
Greco oversaw an important strategic transition in 2012 when PSC Info Group rebranded as RevSpring. The new name reflected a shift from document-centered services toward a digital communications and payment technology platform. During this period, he moved into the role of Chairman of the Board and served in that capacity from 2012 through 2016.
The company focused heavily on healthcare and financial services clients. These sectors depend on accurate billing systems and clear communication with consumers. Inefficiencies in those processes can affect both revenue collection and customer satisfaction. RevSpring addressed these challenges by using analytics to customize consumer messaging and billing communication.
The platform eventually reached significant scale. RevSpring’s technology facilitates more than 1 billion consumer interactions annually across healthcare and financial services organizations. In 2016, the company was sold to a leading private equity group. The transaction created liquidity while allowing the organization to continue expanding under new ownership.
Ascend Ventures and Early Stage Investment
Following his operational leadership experience, Joseph Greco expanded further into investment management. In 2007, he founded Ascend Ventures LLC, a private investment firm focused on early-stage investments and business development initiatives.
The firm operates from the New York City metropolitan area and focuses on diversified investment opportunities combined with active participation in company growth. He structured the organization around identifying scalable business platforms and supporting them through strategic development and capital allocation. The portfolio includes investments across both traditional industries and emerging technology sectors, reflecting a long-term, disciplined approach to expansion.
Experity Ventures and Specialty Finance
Experity Ventures represents another stage in the investment platform strategy. Greco founded Experity Ventures LLC following the sale of RevSpring in 2016. He served as Founder and Chairman from January 2016 through February 2024 and continues to serve as Executive Chairman.
The company functions as a management and holding organization for technology-driven specialty finance and alternative asset management platforms. Its strategy centers on identifying inefficiencies within specialized financial markets. Through Experity and affiliated entities such as Nexify Holdings and Procapita Partners LLC, he expanded his activities in structured finance and asset-backed investment strategies.
Sports Ownership and Philadelphia Union
Sports have remained an ongoing interest throughout his career. Greco joined the ownership group of the Philadelphia Union, a Major League Soccer franchise, in 2013. Since 2014, he has served as Co-Owner of the team.
The Philadelphia Union has been included in the Forbes MLS Team Valuations 2025 ranking, reflecting the growth of Major League Soccer and the league's increasing institutional stability. Participation in the club represents part of a broader engagement with the sports industry.
Tropion Sports Partners
Joseph became a Founding Partner of Tropion Sports Partners in January 2023. The firm operates as a global investment platform focused on opportunities across the sports and entertainment ecosystem. Its strategy centers on identifying scalable assets and supporting growth through disciplined capital deployment.
The organization evaluates opportunities related to media rights, fan engagement platforms, and performance technologies. Its investment approach is designed to participate in the continued commercialization and technological development of sports and entertainment industries.
NIL Era and NOCAP Sports
Joseph Greco is also involved in initiatives related to athlete compensation and emerging sports business models. Since January 2021, he has served as an Investor and Advisor to NOCAP Sports. The company presents itself as a comprehensive platform designed to connect athletes, agents, brands, and fans in the Name, Image, and Likeness environment.
He supports the platform’s objective of empowering athletes at different stages of their careers. The initiative reflects broader changes in collegiate athletics, where athletes increasingly have opportunities to monetize their personal brands and commercial partnerships.
